are not as beautiful as you think

they seem.

One night of fear anguish and pain,

yet when I woke up my life was still the same.

Whomever claimed that dreams and reality

are matched in beauty,

let them have my life through the day

and through the night

then let them be the judge

of which is easier on the sight.

Be it the life you craft to meet your wildest expectations

or the images you see, deep down

when you’re asleep

I think I’ve forgotten how it feels, and how

to tell if it’s real, or if it will just disappear within days.

 -

Thinking of each and every moment when we met last,

reliving every second of the past.

Wishing I could see you every night, that time would freeze

and never pass.

 -

Time will only tell how our story unravels

piece by piece, how it will come together.

And as we watch the pieces falling in place;

when the picture becomes clear,

that’s when we’ll know the answer.

reminding of people and places long forgotten,

Or so I had thought.

People come and go through our lives,

each with a special purpose; a special lesson to teach.

And when they have fulfilled their purpose, they will move on.

The lesson your presence brought was that;

To live and love is part of life,

And so is to leave.

You did leave without a goodbye, and till this day

I wish it had been different; had been any other way.

But remembering now what has gone,

I realize that with an ending, a beginning is born

And for the new beginning you brought to my life,

 I thank you.

yet not seeing what you are looking for.

I could sense the tension,

something I obviously couldn’t ignore,

Not as good as you were at ignoring me

Not even looking my way anymore.

Why does it happen,

ever so often, that your passion isn’t meeting

my emotions?

At times like these, I question my being there,

would it make a difference? Would you

really care?

-

All the while, this going on in my head,

without a glance, without one

word being said.

Bad is not a part of me

I am light;

Darkness is too dark for me to see.

Blessings and love are all I need,

Not anger, hate and greed.

Never let me forget

that I am above all that lead to regret.

I am all which is good

But most importantly,

I am me

are all part of your hidden fate.

Right here, right now

you are where you belong

and you’re not a second too late.

The puzzle is far from complete

but it’s coming together piece by piece

And it has never looked better.

When you feel lost remember

why you chose this path

and the feeling will never last.

It was chosen out of pure wonder

to see what you’re capable of.

Just remember!

It has not been written or heard

for a long time.

But with a pen and paper in my hand

words are flowing from them

and now I have come to understand..

My strength lies within,

Creating rhyme from words and letters

And I have never felt better

than after emptying my thoughts

on paper.

It might come to you

slowly but surely

Or it might be a surprise.

But nevertheless

Change never lies.

I have seen it coming from a distance

And I have been welcoming it with

the least resistance.

But now that it comes closer each day

it reminds me that things will

never be the same

and that I should enjoy while I remain.

Two faces of the same coin

Yet with a twist of fate

You might be bound with one rather

than the other.

“Love thy neighbor”

Yet hate thy brother.

Passion fuels the feeling

while an ache for more burns the needing

to hurt or heal.

To love or feel.

With a flip of a coin

we are blinded with emotions stronger than

our comprehension

rearranging our universe, and

masking our intention.
